In the games I feel good, I can keep the ball well, I help the team there.
I believe everything you experience in life and football can make you better.
Of course, in the beginning it's always difficult. It's a new country, new teammates, so you need to find the relationship with all the players. Obviously it takes time.
But talking about goals and scoring and assists, you can never predict anything. I will just do my best to work hard and hopefully that helps the team to win the games. That's the only thing I'm focused on.
But also outside of football, with the family, the most important is to settle down, to have everything good outside with school, etc.
Money has an important role the older you become. To get this chance at nearly 31, to go from the Greek league to a big team in Asia and earn well, it feels very nice. The money will be security for me and my family.
It's important to be professional and do a good job for Al Ain, because I have had a good time in the club. And once the season ends I will make a decision.
I have definitely learned a lot from playing in different countries and in different styles of football, and I feel very happy now with Al Ain.
I'm 32 this year so I'm experienced, I know how it is: sometimes you do very easy things and sometimes you can do crazy things that you don't understand. It's just to be focused on the hard work. For me, that's always the No 1 thing.
Al Ain are among the absolute best in Asia. When explaining their place in football in this part of the world, they are compared with Barcelona or Real Madrid.
But I'm professional: if I need to do extra training I do extra training.
