[Frank looks up to a balcony and sees a crow eating off a dead body]

Frank: [Frank stands] Get out of it!
[as Frank kicks the fence below, a drop of blood drips down from the body and into his eye]
[Major Henry West tells Hannah she must eat]
Hannah: I don't want to eat.
Major Henry West: You must eat, Hannah.
Hannah: I don't want to eat. I want to bury my dad. He's one of the people you're talking about.
[last lines, alternate ending]
Hannah: [Selena hangs over Jim's dead body, unable to revive him in the hospital] What are we gonna do now? Selena? What are we gonna do now?
Selena: We move.
[as the two girls in red dresses walk down the hospital hallway to leave]
[Jim wakes up Selena from a deep sleep]
Jim: Hey, Selena!
Selena: [Selena grabs her machete] What? What is it?
Jim: How'd you get to sleep?
[Jim wakes up to the sound of Frank's car horn]
Selena: [Jim holds his baseball bat] Come on, sleepyhead! Come on, Babe Ruth.
Frank: Hurry up.
Jim: [Jim gets in the car] Oh, no. Did I miss breakfast!
[Jim opens the car door and sees Major Henry West holding his pistol on him]
Major Henry West: You killed all my boys.
Jim: Wait.
[as Major West pulls the trigger]
[Major Henry West makes a joke about Sergeant Farrell after the Sergeant gives a speech on civilization]
Major Henry West: Have you met our new age Sergeant?
Major Henry West: [the other soldiers laugh] Tell me, Farrell, why exactly did you join the army?
[Jim falls in the woods as Corporal Mitchell holds his loaded gun on him]
Jim: Please...
Corporal Mitchell: Believe me, I'm not interested.
[first lines]
Activist: [the three animal activists arrive to the laboratory] Bingo.
Activist: [when seeing all of the caged apes] Fucking hell.
[Selena tells Jim her first impression of Frank and Hannah]
Selena: They probably need us more than we need them.
[the female activist is bit by the infected ape]
Activist: [as she screams] I'm burning!
Activist: What the fuck is a matter with her?
Scientist: We have to kill her!
[Jim asks Mark about his family]
Jim: Where's your family?
Mark: They're dead, like Selena's.
Selena: Yours will be dead, too.
[Mark tells Jim the two lessons to survive]
Mark: So, lesson one - You never go anywhere alone, unless you've got no choice. And lesson two - Only travel during daylight, unless you've got no choice. We'll take you tomorrow. We'll all go and find your dead parents together, okay?
[Selena tells Jim the infected will be coming]
Selena: More infected will be coming. They always do.
[Selena comments on Jim's face after he shaves]
Selena: Very spruce.
Jim: Very shredded.
[Selena and Hannah shop in the candy section of the supermarket]
Selena: If I never see another chocolate bar again, it will be too soon.
Selena: [as Selena grabs her favorite candy bars] 'Terry's Chocolate Orange', of course!
[Major Henry West asks Jim who has he killed]
Major Henry West: Since it began, who have you killed? You wouldn't be alive now, if you hadn't killed somebody.
[Private Jones and Corporal Mitchell notice that Jim escapes over their perimeter wall]
Private Jones: Oh, no. We're fucked. We're fucked.
Corporal Mitchell: Relax. He's over the wall. He's got no vehicle, no shooter. He's dead.
