I'm a good teacher and am great at observation and picking out what's wrong and fixing it.

For one who has an interest in the body as text, airports are treasure troves of information. It seems almost un-American to enjoy delays, and perhaps enjoy is not the best word, but certainly a delayed flight, if it does nothing else, allows one the opportunity to make prolonged observations about one's fellow travelers.

Until the 1990s, there were few reliable observations about movement at the scale of the entire universe, which is the only scale dark energy effects. So dark energy could not be seen until we could measure things very, very far away.

Most of my work - including everything from my own comics to the covers I've drawn for 'The New Yorker' - is the result of taking some personal experience or observation and then fictionalizing it to a degree.

To observations which ourselves we make, we grow more partial for th' observer's sake.

A few observation and much reasoning lead to error; many observations and a little reasoning to truth.

One can state, without exaggeration, that the observation of and the search for similarities and differences are the basis of all human knowledge.

Of course, life experience changes and adds to writing. And observations change too, where you put yourself in relation to other people.
