I think it's nice to have children. I didn't have many, and while I don't sit around regretting it, I maybe would have liked a couple more. But it wasn't meant to be, and I didn't want it badly enough.
I've had a lot more good luck than bad, and I've made a lot more good pictures than bad ones, and I'm pretty happy with what I have. I don't walk around regretting too many things.
We are unlikely to spend our last moments regretting that we didn't spend enough of our lives chained to a desk. I don't believe in regretting - one should try to move on. My mum was good at that. She was deeply in love with my father, and he died when I was nine. She remarried, and her second husband died, too. I saw the grieving process she went through. My mother had this way of moving on. It was a fine trait.
To me, it's always interesting to see what people end up regretting, as a way maybe to avoid such regrets in your own life.
Follow the money at all costs, and you might wind up regretting it.
